Time Commitment: Recurring, year-round
Best for: Individuals
Age Requirements: 18+
Each day, hundreds of volunteers come together to improve children’s well-being. They are the engine that makes Kids’ Food Basket work, helping thousands of children affected by hunger be their best, in school and life.
The Sack Supper comes to life at Kids’ Food Basket with the support of people like you. Volunteer Facilitators take a key leadership role in making the Sack Supper a daily reality for the nearly 8,000 children we serve, leading and providing hands-on assistance for our evening and weekend volunteer shifts.
You’ll be trained and educated in all things Kids’ Food Basket and take charge of groups and individual volunteers coming on site to create a powerful impact on childhood hunger. The Sack Supper preparation is a busy production so you could be bouncing between greeting volunteers, helping prepare food, and helping others pack and store the Sack Suppers.
This recurring opportunity is perfect for the reliable volunteer with a high energy level, strong leadership abilities, and comfort and ability to work with a diverse volunteer base
