We're moving!

Since 2002, our community’s generosity has helped Kids’ Food Basket become a force for attacking childhood hunger—from serving 125 kids when we began to currently serving over 2,500 kids every day. The success of the sack supper program, along with growing poverty rates in our community, have created an increased demand for our services… and your willingness to help means we have run out of room at our current location! Founder of Kids' Food Basket to be honored with Presidential Citizen's Medal

Mary K. Hoodhood, founder of Kids' Food Basket, has been announced as one of 13 recipients of the Presidential Citizens Medal, the second highest honor a civilian can receive. We will share more news about her trip to Washington, D.C. and visit with President Obama inside the White House soon.
