Become a high school student leader and advocate for change by tackling pressing community issues. Lead fundraisers, food drives, and awareness-building events in the schools and communities. Gain valuable real world knowledge from our line up of engaging speakers at our monthly meetings. You can make an impact on your community by joining YAB.
Are you a middle or high school student interested in teaching others about Kids’ Food Basket? As a Junior Ambassador you play a key role in telling our story and recruiting others to get involved in Kids Helping Kids. As part of this program we’ll train you to speak about KFB because we believe hearing the story from a young perspective is incredibly important. You’ll also have the opportunity to be a part of on and off-site projects and lead KFB’s litter prevention and nutrition lessons. Become a Junior Ambassador today to represent KFB and serve as a role model in your community.
At KFB we believe in service learning, a strategy that combines community service with instruction and reflection. This enriches the students’ learning experience while teaching them civic responsibility and strengthening the community. We offer leadership development and service learning opportunities as well as hands-on volunteering through our KHK Program. KHK gives youth a powerful voice, enables creativity, and sparks innovation where kids are truly helping kids.
