Immediate Volunteer Opportunities

 

Are you a friendly person who enjoys talking on the phone?  We are looking for a pleasant person with computer skills to make volunteer calls during the summer.  The person would be making phone calls for 35 - 60 minutes per day.  If you are interested, please contact Adrienne (adrienne@kidsfoodbasket.org) to learn more.

 

Do you love using your hands to make cards, scrapbooks, and posters?  We are looking for two to three individuals to help us with different craft projects.  If you love scrapbooking then please contact Brad, brad@kidsfoodbasket.or to learn more about this opportunity.

 

 

Are you looking for something to do on nights and weekends and support Kids’ Food Basket? Kids’ Food Basket has been fortunate to have a strong base of loyal supporters. Many of these supporters enjoy hosting outside events such as 5K races and many more activities for KFB. We appreciate these events and the food collected and the money given, but unfortunately due to our staff size and the needs of some of the events, we cannot be everywhere. That is why we are asking you, our biggest advocates and friends to help us.  We are always in need of volunteers to help with these outside events located in greater Grand Rapids. Volunteer duties range from greeting people to setting up an event.  These volunteer opportunities are a great way to meet other community members and help Kids’ Food Basket. Below is our current off-site volunteer needs.  Please click on the event to find out more information, and contact Andrew (andrew@kidsfoodbasket.org) if you have any questions.
