Thank you to all who donated to Kids Food Basket through America's Giving Challenge! Through your generosity, we raised a total of $2,851! In this challenge, Parade Magazine and the Case Foundation, with Network for Good as their donation partner awarded an additional $1,000 to the top 50 non profit organizations with the greatest number of total donations made to them through Network for Good. KFB was one of the top 50 organizations! We are so excited that there are so many people that care so deeply about our cause.

We are also VERY appreciative to everyone who participated in our matching funds challenge! An anonymous donor stepped forward to donate $5,000 to Kids Food Basket if other donors will match the funds. This gesture was made to celebrate Kids Food Basket in their 5 years of service. We are thrilled to tell you that because of your dedication to kids in the Grand Rapids community, KFB raised almost $9,500 in matching funds! Wow! This has enabled us to expand our services to serve more children dinner during these winter months. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

It takes $0.62 to provide a sack supper to a food insecure child in Grand Rapids. For $135 you can feed one child every weekday for one year! Kids Food Basket is currently sending out 1,346 of sack suppers and the number is still climbing as we expand to try to meet the growing need in the community.
