10 Years of Impact!Kids’ Food Basket has served as the only organization in our community focused on childhood hunger for the past ten years. We serve kids directly by providing nutritious, cost-effective Sack Suppers to children at participating schools where 80% or more students live at or near the poverty line. Ten years ago, we were serving 125 Sack Suppers daily at three sites, and today we serve nearly 5,000 Sack Suppers at 30 schools and one satellite site in Muskegon. With 32,000 kids in our community living in food-insecure homes, our work isn’t done! Childhood hunger continues to be one of our communities most pressing problems. Join us in celebrating 10 years of impact, as we thank you - our supporters - for your amazing contributions of time, talent and treasure, and launch our next decade in the attack on childhood hunger! |
